The Source:
This beautiful folding basket was created entirely of recycled, post-use chopsticks which have been sourced from restaurants. Once cleaned and sanitized at high temperatures, they become the medium for Bryan Parks' functional chopstick art.
The goal is to divert waste from landfills, bring awareness to this problem, promote recycling and create useable art.
The Technique:
This practical yet elegant basket is great for holding fruit, serving bread or even as a colander. Because of the natural airflow it helps keep fruit and veggies fresh. Each basket folds flat for easy storage and can be washed with soap and water if needed. Great for at home or on the road.
Available in tea-stained, natural or striped color options.
