The Camphor wood used for this piece came from a local urban landscape tree that was removed. Bill was able to acquire the wood before it became firewood or landfill material.
Bill Haskell uses his own unique methods to create his art. This piece is a hollow form turned on a one-way lathe then embellished with hand carving.*
