The Camphor wood used for this piece came from a local city landscape tree that was removed and Bill was able to acquire the wood before it became fire wood or land-fill material.
Bill Haskell uses his own unique methods to create his art. This piece is a hollow form that was turned on a one-way lathe then embellished with hand carving.*
