Pam is an advocate for sustainability & reuse education through the arts, a dedicated wife, mother, artist & owner of GreenLife Gallery™.
She had the fortune of growing up surrounded by fine art, attending her first art show (Hillcrest Festival of Fine Arts) when she was just 4 months old. Both of Pam’s parents are avid art collectors and introduced her to many forms of artistic expression throughout her childhood (including theatrical, musical and many other mediums).
She also had the pleasure of watching her father, renowned woodturner Bill Haskell, grow as an artist. She still recalls digging through neighbors’ trash to find metal cans that Bill would fashion into lovely sculptures long before he discovered woodturning.
“I’m certain a lot of my creative curiosity was developed during those early years of exploration in the arts. However, I didn‘t truly find my calling as an eco-artist until later in life when I combined my lifelong love of the environment with my passion for imaginative re-use and artistic expression.”

As an emerging “mixed media” artist, Pam creates 2D and 3D art forms using retired laser discs, CDs, DVDs, their plastic “jewel” cases, as well as paper, glass and plastic single-use packaging. Using various techniques and tools Pam transforms “trash” into inspirational works of art to be enjoyed for generations to come.
“My mission is to divert these retired and often discarded media relics and single use packaging from the landfill in a way that enables me to educate and inspire sustainability through art.”
